MICHAEL FITZGERALD has fast become one of the most demanded solo artists in Melbourne. He has been playing Guitar, Singing, and Songwriting for over 15 years. He has now established himself as one of Melbourne’s leading Solo Artists. The reason? amazing vocals, skilled guitar playing, and always an entertaining and professional approach to each performance.
He has also performed as both lead singer and guitarist in a variety of top 40 covers bands, including Sanity and Slumberyard. He has also performed with members of: Big Deal, Metrik, Cotton Keays & Morris Band, and Vanessa Amarossi Band.
He has a huge repertoire from the 60’s through to today’s top 40 hits. He has performed at a variety of venues and functions, and as such is a very adaptable artist. Michael (or Mick as he is affectionately known) has performed at pubs & hotels, corporate functions, private functions and weddings. Basically, anything from a lazy Sunday Afternoon to pumpin Saturday night. He is heavily booked due to his personable qualities, ability to interact with the audience and professionalism.
Michael has also been writing, performing and producing his own original material. Working with some of Melbourne’s finest musicians, who have produced and played with Vanessa Amarossi, Cotton,Keays & Morris and Rob “Millsy” Mills. He is currently working on a new original EP release. Keep your ears out!
With Michael, the end product is quality musicianship guaranteed, and a great time. With over 200 gigs a year, he can either get the crowd up and dancing or provide soothing tunes depending on the venue. Michael is sure to entertain all crowds!
